Sonic shuffle vs mario party

Post by garrett123 »

Sonic shuffle came out for the dreamcast in 2000, and is segas only party game for sonic. Sonic shuffle uses cards, and rings, and mario party uses dice, and coins. the two games are similar becuase they were made by the same people.
sonic shuffle was 4 players on the dreamcast, and each game could take 1 hour if you werent very good.

nintendo's done 9 different mario party games, and segas done onesonic party game.

if nintendo starts running out of ideas, sonic shuffle 2 might be a good idea.

if sega did create a party game for sonic, it might hurt mario party, and start a rivalry between sega and nintendo, no I dont mean sonic and mario at the olympic games.

I love Sonic, but I've got to go with Mario Party.

I found Sonic Shuffle to be not nearly as well-rounded as Mario Party. The game just felt half-assed.

I've never played Sonic Shuffle. I'm morbidly curious if it's worth picking up--I see it on Buy/Sell/Trade threads. I love Mario Party, though my palms almost always hate me later.

Sonic Shuffle needs a vote!

I love Sonic Shuffle, and when I bought it back it in the day I found it to be a lot better than Mario Party.

I also really like the card system over the dice system. Aside from the battle aspect, the cards allowed me to plan my movements around the board a lot better. I always feel hosed with the dice.

I do like Mario Party, I still buy the damn things after all, but I'd love to see a new sequel to Shuffle.

Once again, I'm probably the only guy in the world...

I have played both and mario party had alot more verity and im a huge sonic fan. I also think sonic shuffle seemed to have lots of potential. I would love to see a new sonic party game after all sega tennis and all stars raceing were both fantastic

sonic shuffle vs mario party thread is dead, hey rhym!

I think that the older mario party games are better than sonic shuffle, but newer mario party games are worse than sonic shuffle.
