I don't have a problem with them not having WiFi at the start. It was 2005 and Wireless G was starting to take off.

By not having the feature in the product, they were able to keep the cost lower.

I see your point, and I respect your opinion, but I just feel that for it to have launched a year after a handheld that included wifi was unacceptable, especially since the major selling point of the 360 was its online service.

lol, I honestly didn't know there was a difference. Please educate me? I hate it when I use a word incorrectly and don't realize it.
There's a couple of different arguments as to the etymology, but in general "disk" is used for magnetic storage like hard drive platters while "disc" refers to optical media like games.

No... The real issue was neutering it like that and then charging $100 for the wireless adapter. My first summer's wage, down the drain!

I'm going to step in here and say that The Game Boy Micro and the PSP Go were great revisions. Only because it looked like nothing like it did before. Yes they did lose functionality, but they were great little systems. They were better built IMO and smaller for easier carry. I just got my PSP Go in pearl white today and it looks awesome.

All computer storage media is called "disk".

CD is Disc because of the shape and original purpose, it's derived from phonograph records.

Disc is a music term, not a computer one, CD was invented as a new music standard. Only later was it modified to store generic data and the CD-ROM format was invented.

DVD and BluRay are derivative storage mediums from CD so they kept the Disc moniker.

You're all wrong. The real difference is that disc is the British spelling while disk is the American spelling. While disc has no come to popularly mean musical and later optical media, it's not entirely incorrect to call a "compact disc" a disk; cf. "disk (not disc) jockey" and "disk-drive".

Good job

Wikipedia thinks they are interchangeable names. So I'll go with that.

Can we compromise and call it "disck"?
