You did not know about https://club.nintendo.com/  ? I've scored the Mario 3 poster set, 2011 calendar, reversible pouch, a history of Mario screensaver, and the Grill Off downloadable game. 90% of the points were from buying VC games. You do have to fill out brief surveys for the coins, super easy. Free stuff rules.

There are time windows in which you need to use the points. Like, I really never gave a crap about getting a screensaver, but that was all that was left to choose from with what points I had to use before the deadline. Maybe they have revamped this.... anyway, register and score some free swag!

I got the NES two summers ago at a yard sale for $5, but it wasn't until the old lady down the street passed away that I hooked it up.

No, I didn't hook it up in her honor... unless the story sounds better spun that way... I have been waiting for an old UHF 10-12" TV to hook it up to. The old lady's niece moved into her house and put the TV on the curb so I asked if I could have it, and now I have a second NES hooked up the same way I did back in the 80's.

Total Cost: $12 (5 for the NES and 7 for a new 72 pin)

That picture looks like you took it back in the 80's!

That really sounds like it's a euphemism for something.

2600 River Raid and Jr Pacman - $15.00 Shipped
Bought the games from aaron, THANKYOU! Considering what he paid including gas and shipping costs a very nice gesture.

I have been looking for Jr Pacman for a while and got the River Raid II cart as a nice bonus. Both carts are uncommon, River Raid II could only be purchased back in the day by mail order from Activision. aaron knew I liked Atari 2600 games, PMed me when he spotted it.

River Raid II throws altitude control into the works, definitely harder then the first River Raid.

Jr Pacman is sweet! I knew it had new mazes different from the Arcade, the reason why I have been looking for it. The mazes are hard and challenging enough to tease for a try again. A nice thing about the Atari 2600 is the Select Button. An instant acess to change levels of a game, in this case jump to the next maze.

Brand new? For $16? Wow.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

It actually had a BIN for $20 which honestly was quite reasonable considering the shape it's in, but I placed a bid and got it a little bit cheaper.

Yeah, kind of a strange coincidence.

Is River Raid 2 any good?
