I just got a new pc yesterday and every time I reboot (after installing new programs) I get a message from NIVIDA to create a striping RAID array on my hard drive. So I go through the steps and it says it may damage data on the drive... the only problem is that the recovery disks are a partition on the drive that it warns me may have permanent damage.
The program is called: nvidia media shield
I select Raid: Striping 64
and then it lets me select my hard drive and gives me a warning about possible data loss....
Should I use the program or....
Any advise would be helpful.
NVIDA RAID?

If you know nothing about RAIDs, don't touch it. I'm assuming you mean you're getting messages from a service running in Windows. For a second I thought you meant it was the RAID screen that passes after 5 seconds before the Windows loading logo appears.
All you need to know is that in order to create a RAID, all disc drives involved will be formatted.

If you are certain you arent running any RAIDs and dont wish to, I would suggest you uninstall your nvidia and nforce drivers, restart in Safe Mode, run the newest Driver Sweeper and remove the remains of all things Nvidia, and then install the newest official nforce and display drivers for your hardware:
