Yeah, I haven't really had her on my team in a while. I was comboing off her singularity a lot early in the game. She's had pretty much zero recharge time on it. She is a fun squad mate. I was kind of hoping to combo my biotics off of Javik's Dark Channel, but the recharge time on it is ridiculous. He's not helping me much in the fight I'm currently in. I found the grenading to be much less frequent/annoying as it is in the Gears and Uncharted games, and skills learned from playing those were helpful in ME3. Have you played lots of games with the grenade/cover dynamic?
I might be able to survive a blast if I was playing as another class, but for my adept it's pretty much a one hit kill. Just annoying when you're fighting through endless waves of enemies and that one grenade can kill you and make you start over again.
Right now I'm annoyed by this barrier engine thing too. I can see it and put my crosshairs on it but none of my biotics will hit it for some weird reason. I guess I'll have to try using guns on it. It's annoying having all these biotically shielded husks and other enemies charging at me.
Adept is a tough class on insanity. They can kill enemies who don't have defenses extremely fast with biotic combos + zero recharge time, but damn, they can go down in the blink of an eye if the enemy gets the drop on you or if you're faced with enemies that have tough defenses. More of a long range, hit and run class. Enemy gets in your face and you're dead.
