course, it's even more fun when enemies spam 'nades, cause it's not like they have a limit on them or anything....like I do. Spam grenade, force me out of cover, I get full of holes, critical mission failure. Thanks Bioware. I just love staring at loading screens that take eons
There's an indicator of the grenade and its position. I'm not sure how much more warning you need.
You don't always notice when you're fighting off enemies AND trying to pay attention to the dialog that constantly happening as you're fighting. Plus, they just screw you with them sometimes. One comes at you, there's not enough room for you to back away from the blast, and moving forward just means getting gunned down. Game over. I've been through two Mass Effect games where grenades weren't an issue. I don't appreciate having them in the gameplay now. I'm sure some people love the addition though, just not me.

Anyway, I rescued the Turian Primarch's kid, guess my next mission will be taking care of that Cerberus bomb.

I mean, they can't be evil if this hot chick who looks like Yvonne Strahovsky says they're not right? Then you get to ME 3 and it's like, yeah, they are totally evil. I miss compelling villains like Saren, Benezia and Sovereign. ME 1 is soooo much better in that regard. Illusive Man was so easy to see through in ME 2. It's like I didn't even once consider that he wasn't evil. Like I'm supposed to believe he is a good guy even with those creepy eyes that they constantly focused in on in not so subtle fashion in ME 2.
The funnier part is how they were just kind of a random faction on some lone planet in ME1, doing weird experiments and that was about it. Barely did anything. Suddenly they have an arm of power reaching across the galaxy.

Yeah I know, those bastards keep popping up everywhere

I'm getting tired of killing them....and dodging their annoying grenades, but I digress.

You are right about one thing, the characterization is sooooo good. It's going to be the thing I talk the most about after I finish this game. It's just one great character moment after the next each time I'm on the Normandy. It's like they've laid it all out in this game. This is who these people are, everything you wanted to know about them is being answered. Everything you wanted to know about how these different people interact with one another and what they think of each other is laid out for you. I even feel like I'm learning a lot more about the different races too. They do such a good job of referencing past events too, and I've mentioned this before, but I love that the game keeps acknowledging that my Shepherd is biotic. It makes your class actually mean something.

Off to deal with that Tuchanka bomb now

Well, I just killed some more Cerberus guys in Mass Effect 3: War against Cerberus. Oh wait, that's not the title of the game is it?

Pretty sad ending though to that mission, the Turian/Krogan storyline is very interesting.

If you haven't figured it out yet, Cerberus is obviously the new Geth/Collectors and the main enemy force in the game.

Personally I think they beat the hell out of the Collectors, way more fun to fight. The Collectors were pretty boring I thought.

Can't top the Geth at all though. They were hands down the best and coolest.

Yeah, the Geth are pretty awesome. I always felt they were wronged by the Quarians, so it'll be interesting to see how things play out with those two races in this game. Pretty obvious clues I've seen that the Quarians are looking to start war with them, which is dumb.

Getting to that, doing the Krogan scout mission for Wrex. Great to see Grunt again. Him and Wrex are so awesome. Hoping with enthusiasm to face something OTHER than Cerberus troops on this mission. I'm expecting to throw down with some bugs. I wasn't sure who to bring on this one, but I think Javik and James have the best dialog. Javik has history with the Rachni and seemed curious about Grunt. I also love how freaked James is by the Rachni, as well as the fact that my Shepherd let the queen go free. I think a fortified James with a Claymore should also come in handy on this assignment.

Also, I'm wearing Collector armor. I feel like my Shepherd is wearing the carcass of the last great enemies he defeated, something I think a character like Grunt would appreciate.

"Shepherd, you alright down there?"

"I'm fine"

"Good, didn't want to dig you out."

"That hurts my feelings Grunt."

"Yeah, yeah"
