I have no problem using the Dreamcast controller either, not like it works differently then any other ports.

I'm currently almost done. Just need to 100% Philly and the three Contests. Which means getting the sick score (got 249,000 last time...UGH!) and the cash.

The controls on the DC version definitely feel worse than the PlayStation's.

How so? Joystick moves, buttons do tricks, triggers spin. I'm not seeing the Dreamcast cheat me on my tricks or go the wrong way or something.

At the moment, I wish I'd left it that way. Wow, this game has aged terribly in my opinion. I can't get over how clunky the controls are and how awkward it is to accurately steer you skater compared to later entries. The trick system feels horrible and I could barely stand to play through the first level. It seems i#m alone in this opinion though. I'm glad you guys are enjoying it, but I've not even 100%ed level one and I already feel like I won't be playing through this whole thing this month.
I'd blame most of that on the Dreamcast controller. haha
Them's fightin' words, young lady.
You know I'm right.

alright, well I actually just beat it. Got the three gold metals and watched the credits roll.
But it's early in the month and I still have some loose end goals to go back and take care of. At any rate, I still love this damn game. I think 3 might be my favorite of the series. But this is close. After I go back and complete some of the goals I missed here, I'll probably play THPS1 and some others from the series as well. :D

I'm not going to do that, I never have in all these years. It isn't like the game dramatically changes by using another skater haha.

I can't believe you're playing the N64 port, though. It's solid, I just had to get used to the controller layout the 1st go around.

4 person multiplayer is sweet, though.

The only time I ever 100%'ed everyone was on the 1st game; after that, I just used custom skaters.

What is this, "gang up on harper time"? haha

I just already have the N64 version and I'm completely used to the controller layout since that's how I've always played it.

That's cool. Apparently you don't want to go to Skate Heaven or play as Officer Dick or Spiderman. That's right, I said Spiderman.
