Stage 3 is awesome in every way. By far my favorite shmup stage so far.

The part where you blow up the floating island and watch it fall, crashing into the earth... The most satisfying 5 seconds I've ever had in a shmup.

EDIT: I lied. Beating this game was the most satisfying 5 seconds. That end boss is... well. Definitely something.

I would agree, but I think combined with that amazing Stage 3 visual, the ship burning at re-entry and those green ships flying overhead and the awesome part kicks in RIGHT at that point. Sweet track.

I actually broke a mil a day or two ago, but my Saturn battery is dead so it's not doing saves yet. Had a couple (well, 3) really stupid deaths but I just wanted to get my name up on the board.

What other shmups do you have and enjoy? There is always room for more high score threads, especially since most of them are not getting action anyways.
