Advice DC ISO's/CDI's

After reading page after page about burning backups for my DC I thought I finally had it. Clearly I don't becuase I'm coming to you for help. I know that this topic has been passed around more than a hooker in Las Vegas, but I need help. I'm determined not to quit. I've tried every *free* option I could with a following failure. I guess I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have a lack of experience using burning programs and dealing with certain file types.

I heard that a burning program called CDBURNERXP was able to back up DC games so I gave it a shot. I downloaded a *self boot CDI* game and unzipped it with 7-Zip. I then found out that I needed *D-Tools*, so I got that as well. I put the CDI file in D-Tools' *virtual drive*, slid in a *Memorex 700MB CD-R* and opened CDBurnerXP. It asked what I wanted to do...Now the guide I was reading on the Internet said to use CdBurnerXP and to make a *Cd2Cd* copy, the poster also said to make sure the mode was set to *raw read*. I don't know what raw read is and I'm stuck.

That's basically how far I've made it. I know I'm close. I put all those star up so that someone might notice a word centering it and possibly realize that's my problem.

I can't help with that tool but it seems that everyone (myself included) uses Alcohol 120% to burn DC games. I don't think that it's failed me yet. All you need to do is choose the game's image, set to the lowest burning speed and tick the "RAW DAO" box and burn the disc. Good luck.

I use the old Padus Discjuggler to burn CDI, u can also try that its reallly easy.

Here's what ya do:
Step 1. Download and install 7-zip.
Step 2. 7-zip isn't actually useful for that specific task, so download the demo of Alcohol 120%. And if you don't feel like paying for it when the demo's up in 15 days, there's about a half billion cracked uploads on Rapidshare.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: PROFIT
