I wasn't really paying attention, something about aliens and they kept saying some about Fushi Kushi or someat like that. I'm not sure... I would like to see it. The only shows on there I like are American Dad and King of the Hill, which I watch only on local channels. It's really a shame.
You were watching FLCL aka Furi Kuri/Fooly Cooly

A very short Anime that CN re airs like the viewers need it as much as water. It is ok imo, but not great.

I don't really care about anime, but AS is so bad these days I'd rather they ran Toonami instead. Signed.

The nostalgia will wear off quickly if they really bring Toonami shows back. After a month or less people will get tired of it and not care anymore. Just my opinion.

I'd hope they would both rotate the classics and bring in new shows.

I think Toonami could work in that time slot, because, after all, it was originally based off Toonami to begin with. Their Midnight Runs were just Toonami less edited. I doubt there would be much change, even if they skewed the programming to an older Adult Swim audience.

But what they really need to do is put new shows in those time slots. I like Big O, and I love FLCL and Bebop, but after watching them for the umpteenth time they do get old. Bebop has been airing off and on since 2001, FLCL since 2003, Big O since 2003, and GitS since 2004. I'm glad they switched it up and gave us Brotherhood, Kekkaishi (though I don't like it), and Durarara!!, but those first two are a couple years old now. Right now they're just rerunning stuff and it's getting old.

Right now what they really need is new shows, but honestly, even if they didn't bring Toonami back, I'd be happy if they just brought TOM back to do all the segues. Those Adult Swim one's are just too bland for me.

I really like Durarara , Brotherhood and Kekkaishi, but yep in classic [AS] fashion they are just replaying episodes again. Bleach sucks and has sucked since after the first season.

Though with Brotherhood I believe I'm in the minority of enjoying the original Anime over this one that follows the Manga closer. The original improved the story in my opinion.

Actually, I just thought about this. Bring in Toonami, as said, but leave Venture Bros. Although reruns are common, when new ones come, IT.IS.AMAZING. I wasn't sure about the Fooly Cooly, I just remember it being one I hadn't heard of before, so I thought it may have been new.

I must have missed the Venture Bros hate in this thread or something? But yeah, totally a great idea to leave out one of the highest rated and best shows on the network.
