Nice finds on the controllers and games
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I'm going to have to start seeking out more flea markets. How are the Goodwills in Manhattan? The ones in Brooklyn suck.Onyxthecat wrote:You know I was just wandering around before work and it appeared from no where lol. It was by a church close to soho. I'm dumb and forgot to take a pic but its really close to a goodwill store down the street from it.

They are pretty cool, lots of strange and vintage items. I've been to the goodwills in Brooklyn and yes they suck. Queens has decent Salvation Army's though lol.

Shim Megami Tensei Nocturne - $17.99 Free Gamestop
HDAdvance compatible. This game was recently reduced in price along with the Fatal Frame series and Persona 3. Since I already purchased Fatal Frame and Fatal Frame III, Nocturne was free. This is due to the Buy 2 and Get 1 Free coupon I printed up after renewing my power rewards card.
I always held off on the Shim Megami games due to reading about continual dialog to click thru. Nocturne tends to be more open ended with different paths to take so finally decided to take the plunge and explore this RPG. A shame it is not 480p but still a decent game other then a lot of dialog. The battles have a learn "spell" in them, I need to remember what spell or direct hit works best for each monster.
The Fatal Frame and Shen Megami series tend to be Reprints at Gamestop. New games that are sold as inexpensive used. Reprints are not really an issue since the disc content is the same.

PS2 Namco 50th Anniversary - $5.00 Bookoff
HDAdvance compatible. Another PS2 game from Bookoff for only five bucks, the best local source to get pristine used CIB games!
HDAdvance compatible. The surprise here is finding an intact under $5.00 CIB PS2 game at Gamestop. The headache is visiting three more stores and digging thru the damn yellow envelopes to get the matching red label Greatest Hits disc. The Lego Star Wars are the first in the Lego movie themed series and one of the better ones. I really like flying the ships in the 3rd person view similar to Micro Machines views. It is a great angle to see the enemies and flying around the turrets.

PS2 Lego Star Wars II Original Trilogy - $4.49 GamestopWiki wrote: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namco_Muse ... nniversary
This title refers to Namco's 50 years as a company which originally manufactured toys in 1955. It was the second "Namco Museum" compilation to be released on the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and the Nintendo GameCube (The scaled down version on Game Boy Advance was also the second "Namco Museum" compilation for the GBA). It was also released on the PC.
The versions on PS2, Xbox, NGC, and PC include sixteen games:
Pac-Man (1980)
Ms. Pac-Man (1981)
Galaga (1981)
Galaxian (1979)
Dig Dug (1982)
Pole Position (1982)
Pole Position II (1983)
Rolling Thunder (1986)
Rally-X (1980)
Bosconian (1981)
Dragon Spirit (1987)
Sky Kid (1985)
Xevious (1982)
Mappy (1983)
Pac-Mania (1987) - locked initially
Galaga '88 (1987) - locked initially
This is the first edition of Namco Museum to feature true arcade game emulation using the original game ROMs.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Hey guys,
I just got a big lot of Super Famicom games today but there was a mix up with one of them. I should have got Romancing Saga 3 but instead got this one *points at linked picture*

I started my Rosetta Stone JP months ago in anticipation, but my JP literacy skills aren't that great yet. Can anyone tell me what this game is?

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Stopped into Goodwill today and found these bad boys for $3.

They're the Genesis Konami Justifiers. Friend was with me and he was claiming the pink one was rare, is this true? Just curious, going to keep them for myself anyway.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who loves the Nintendo e-Reader.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Yeah the pink one you had to get by mail order. Not sure if it is rare but $3 is a steal. It has a phone plug on the end that connects to the blue controller. So the pink justifer can be used on either sega genesis or super nintendo as long as you have a the blue first person justifer.
