Haha, yea I guess we should stop picking on you with the powerpak+ (which is awesome btwZenErik wrote:Haha, yea. Lets just pick a different topic now.AznKhmerBoi wrote:Okay if you say so.![]()
Anyone else liking the matte screen protectors? It was $5 for 3 sets on Amazon. Definitely recommended. Cleaning the top screen to apply the one on top top a while though!
I've got 3 characters left to unlock in DoA Dimensions, but now these tag battles are getting really cheap. Opponents can kill my life bar in 2 or 3 hits but it takes about 200 to beat them, haha.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
For what it's worth, I'm also highly opposed to adding any bulk. The 3DS is already at the absolute maximum size limit for my pocket, and making it bigger would prevent me from carrying it much of the time. But the price/performance of the Nyko battery kit is very appealing... ($14 in Canada)
Next time I'm on a trip or have an extended flight planned, will definitely be picking one of these up for the ride (unless something better is released by then).

Another voice of reason.
I would consider using an extended battery during a flight as well, but I would only put it on the 3DS for that flight. You have to have a screw driver handy to put the extended battery in too. If I did not have to do that I would be more likely to get the extended battery to use on occasion.
On a less controversial note, I finally unlocked all the characters in DoA Dimensions. The last fights in challenge mode weren't even about skill anymore. They were just cheap. So I had to pick the fastest characters and be as cheap as possible in return. No fancy combos. Just find whichever combo connects most often and doesn't get me killed. Took about 30 tries each for the last 3... Meh... But I did it.

The 3DS is on sale at Canadian Walmarts, by a lot. Marked down from $169 to $119. Americans can buy them online here. Canadian money is at parity with American dollars right now, so you pay what you see.

Got my R4 today.
Now to load up a ton of games on it. Makes it easier so I don't have to carry all those games around with me. And I'll leave Radiant Historia sealed, haha.
If only they'd get the R4 working with actual 3DS games now.

This was probably covered earlier, but does the R4 even work in the 3DS? I thought it was supposed to lock up or something.ZenErik wrote:Got my R4 today. Now to load up a ton of games on it. We used to have a flash card - G6Real or something - but I don't appreciate games properly unless I own them, so it was only used when my wife wanted a convenient way to carry multiple games around. Is there any point in digging it out again?
Re: Nintendo 3DS
I have no idea if your flash card will work, but the latest official R4 works great on the 3DS. I've already tried 4 different games as a test. Just gotta download some more.ejamer wrote:This was probably covered earlier, but does the R4 even work in the 3DS? The card was only maybe $16. Well worth it, I think. Helps me try before I buy. I am very interested in all the DS RPGs in particular. As well as having some of my usual favorites on the 3DS without buying them. I really do not need to own any more versions of Puyo Puyo.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Didn't Nintendo play with the idea of logging software used on the 3DS and potentially bricking systems that used these devices at any point in their life?
Re: Nintendo 3DS
Works fine. Probably a baseless rumor. Or a baseless threat from Nintendo. I haven't heard much about it.Cronozilla wrote:Didn't Nintendo play with the idea of logging software used on the 3DS and potentially bricking systems that used these devices at any point in their life?
