The CV isn't exactly known for having bad caps or bad connectors, it's mainly the RAM, controller port ICs and the power switch. The main problem with the CV's design is that it uses three different voltages, hence why it has such an oddball of a power supply. You can fix this by modding the system so that it can use 5V RAM as opposed to the originals which used different voltages (+12V and -12V if I'm not mistaken).G-Darius wrote:I agree with the Ram,otherwise its bad voltage supply due to bad connections,capacitors and the like.
