What are you listening to at the present? (genres helpful)

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Great band. Got turned onto them researching comics... I was looking for information on Jonah Hex, and found their song "The Death of Jonah Hex". They're good. Not sure what you call it, but some kind of twangy, spaghetti western styled light metal thing? I like it. Get a bit of a Shooter vibe from 'em, y'know?

I'm into...uhh... outlaw country. That doesn't really work as a title anymore. Shooter Jennings is pushing for XXX as a name for the genre, but it doesn't really convey the right message. It makes sense, coming from the usage of the moonshining days, but I dunno. I like calling it XXX, but it'd be hard to get to stick.

I forgot how fantabulous this band was. A bit of Sonic-sounding instrumentation towards 7:00, perhaps a bit after, worth listening to even if you don't want to sit through a 10 minute progressive epic ;)

Really, REALLY, good, modern Shoegaze.

Both this album, In Between, and their debut (I believe), Friends For Now, have been constantly playing on my Zune these days.

Vacuum - Climbing My Sky

One of my favorite genres of music is early-mid 90s European death/doom metal. This is a hidden gem I just discovered. Love that album cover.

Boards of Canada -- Left Side Drive

Hoping that's not too entirely obscure for the RB crowd.

Not at all. I think you'll find more BoC fans on here than you think.

My friend introduced me to Boards of Canada a long time ago.

Cool stuff, though I don't listen to it often.
