yeah, the series became of victim of GTA's popularity I think.Flake wrote:Yeah, Tony Hawk was better when the developers realized it was essentially an arcade game and were okay with that.

Explain?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

just meaning how THUG started to incorporate all these missions that weren't even on a skateboard. Y'know? Felt less about skating and more like it tried to incorporate GTA-style missions.

Hey, I'll be joining in too. Playing the DC port. I used to play the hell outta this game when it first came out.

Well after dinner I'll be popping in my DC copy. No reason to not beat it again!

I have the Xbox version. I won't have time until this weekend to play, though.

I've already made it up to Venice Beach. I got a gold metal, and beat all the levels at 90% (I don't bother with the "find all the money" goal, as I don't find scavenger hunts fun in games).

I created my skater but haven't bothered actually playing it yet.
Think I'll go do that now.

Older. Not wiser.

Not liking the Dreamcast version. Pulling off specials is hit or miss. I remember the PSX having much better controls.

Im grabbing my deck pretty soon,as soon as Im done doing something for Noise & Luke.I agree on the DC controller, game was made for PSX the GBA version is also awesome and different too in a good way!
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
