Argh, that burnt my eyes to read. I love the unified minimal box art of the Master System. As you collect more, you will come to love it, just wait! Some of the cases do branch out actually, Robocop Vs. Terminator is one, and the Mortal Kombats from memory (I wouldn't bother though).

I think you'll enjoy collecting for the system, and the cheap cheap prices are a big part of that. Stay away from Genesis ports because they are almost always a disappointment.. The sonic games, 1 & 2 are great, dont touch Sonic Chaos with a 10 ft. pole though. Check out 'The Ninja' too, and Fantasy Zone.

The Master System 2 was my first console so I have a lot of nostalgia for it, but thats not its entire appeal I swear! And my Rainbow Islands cart just arrived in the post today! w00+!

The Master System was my first console as well. A lot of great memories with Wonder Boy, Hang on & Safari Hunt, Shinobi, Quartet, Zillion. The Ninja was and still is my favorite game for the Master System. I can play through it with my eyes shut. I'd also recommend Gangster Town (more fun with two players). Ah, the memories.... :)
Thing's that I'm looking for at the moment: Super Mario RPG manual(SNES), Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals map and cart(SNES), The King of Dragons Box and manual(SNES), Lufia and the fortress of doom CIB(SNES), Earthbound CIB(SNES), EVO: The Search for Eden CIB(SNES), Harvest Moon CIB(SNES), Mario Paint CIB(SNES), Bomberman Party Pak With Super Multitap(SNES), DoReMi Fantasies CIB(SFC).

It's still a pretty good deal, I found my GC version case and disc only $25 a while back.

That's awesome, I'm so jealous. At my Goodwill the games alone would've been $30. :(

$30 for even CBFD alone isn't exactly something I'd be whining about.

A used red 3ds with Super Mario Land 3D for $150. Not a fantastic deal but it was enough for me to go for it.
