chupon, thanks for all the thoughtful ideas. A few things to clarify questions you had (just so you know my logic).

I have heard a few of those other shows, but I honestly never wanted the RB show to be anything like those others, as most game podcasts (including retro game ones) annoy the shit out of me. That said there are of course some things to take away from them, such as telegraphing structure and so forth, that are still being worked out in the new format.
First - the intro music!? I like to consider myself a seasoned gamer but I have no clue what game this music comes from.
For probably 3/4 or more of the 30 previous episodes, I started the show with game music that is related to the topic of the show and then fade into Niode's RB podcast theme music (which is what I just started right away with in this episode). Since this show didn't have a theme per se, I didn't see fit to start the show with game music. Usually I will.
I'd love a section where every podcast someone from the forum is interviewed.
We'll do this in a fashion in many episodes, but not every episode...the logistics would be a pain in the ass, frankly.
Also Racket or Nick should contribute and join the podcast every once and a while. Dudes been quite lately.
He's been on at least two or three previous episodes, and I expect he'll find his way on again at some point.
In any case, this first "reboot" show was very much us getting our bearings. The show that goes up next Monday (#32) will be very similar to the old format (it is an hour long interview with some XSEED folks

), and very thus different than episode #31. The show after that (#33) will be more like the one we just did, but hopefully stronger and with some new content - we intend, for example, to have a theme of sorts for each episode.
In any case I would think it will take us a few months to get into a "groove" of sorts, and then we'll never really want to be stale and predictable from episode to episode...
