Does the Mega EverDrive work on Retrobit's RetroGen adapter?

Does the Mega Everdrive work on Retrobit's RetroGen adapter for the SNES/SFC? All I could find by googling is that it doesn't work with a Genesis Portable device also called the RetroGen. Given that the two are vastly different I'm not sure what to think. Confusing to say the least. Can anyone verify? I have found out that it does work with the regular Everdrive MD, but I'm thinking of possibly getting the Mega Everdrive in the future.
