They point out flaws to but also point out all the good I have played it many times and it is very silent hill like with a great dark twisted story. Anyone who has played it all the way can see that.

Also the people who worked on 2 restless dreams. The art director also worked on the room lol

The review posted above talks about frame rate issues......umm I did not even notice a problem while playing it did not hinder my gameplay once so ever.

Also they say harry townsend is void of personality?
Umm all silent hill main stars are limited in personality. U discover that as u play any silent hill game.

That's how silent hill games are. And Framerate issues lol please. The room may not be perfect but it scared me more and had less issues then one.

We had a big thread on it somewhere around here. HD collection's abysmal. It's buggy, ugly, and missing effects that were present in the original versions.

No, just no. Harry just doesn't have a personality. His character wasn't really developed within the story. In fact, you could replace Harry with any other person and they would fit in the role. Unless there's something in the story that I entirely overlooked, Harry had to go through those nightmares because he was associated with the same room where so many events had taken place.

As for James, (Spoilers for SH2)

You'd be pretty emotionless too if you had watched your wife suffer with a terminal illness for a long time and then you finally reached the breaking point and killed her.

I'm not trying to argue that 4 is a bad game (I actually really enjoyed it). However, it isn't perfect. It's definitely one of the weakest Silent Hill titles.

I didnt pick that review because they trash the game, I picked it because they explain it why it fails as a Silent Hill game when compared to previous Silent Hill games. But they also explained why it still is a proper Silent Hill game, unlike the new Silent Hill games. Whether the game has a good score on Metacritic or not is irrelevant. A game that might be a good standalone title will be reviewed accordingly if it claims to be a Silent Hill game. The first three games created the foundation for the series, which is why certain elements are to be expected from all new games claiming to be Silent Hill. You could call the next Super Monkey Ball game Silent Hill 5 and people would trash it. That doesnt mean that the game itself is horrible, it might be great, it just means that the game fails as a Silent Hill title.

Have you even played Silent Hill 2? Or did you skip all the cutscenes and text articles and played through the entire game with a walkthrough guide? Or are you just too young to understand?

Lol let's see I have made my point there are 8 other good reviews for silent hill the room and gamespot and informer are high up reviewers.

As for silent hill 2 great game,great story and I have beaten the game many times with all endings from him killing his wife to the dog ending lmao.

I like it .....u don't......point made and as for those reviewers u say are so great I don't agree. I watched them and they talked about this angle and framerate crap. Blah there not my cup of tea.

You sound close minded its like talking to someone bout religious stuff and the reviewers were not all that.

I think the room had flaws ,not perfect at all but it was a fantastic story and great gameplay. Cool design
