I pledged $100. I doubt this will happen, but I just have to back the 2nd coming of Working Designs.

Well personally I think that XSEED is the Second Coming of WD.

Doesn't anyone think it is super lame that you have to pledge (donate, invest, whatever) so much to actually get the game? Wasteland 2 and Double Fine Adventure we're miles better, only $15 to actually get the game you are supporting by pledging.

well yes, but Victor Ireland is literally the guy behind WD. So if he makes MonkeyPaw's releases physical, then it would actually be the the Second Coming of WD.

Sadly, XSEED isn't quite the second coming of Working Designs considering they are leaning more towards digital distribution nowadays.

I wouldn't say they are leaning that way, they are just also offering up their games digitally as well..

Well, it does seem like several of their releases are digital only (Sumioni, Corpse Party, Ys Origin (English)), I hope we see more awesome LE's like Ys Seven, Ys: Oath in Felghana, and Ys I & II.

Anyone want to comment on this ^. $59 on Kickstarter to get the game?

It's a deluxe edition. $60 is fair to me. I went for the $100 edition myself.

Sure I can see the argument that $60 is fair for a deluxe edition, my point is that there is no lower "regular" edition tier or "bottom-rung" digital-copy edition tier.

There will be a regular edition if this Kick Starter succeed and and a digital version either way... So I would agree that it's a bit strange that those are not offered as part of the program.
