It's definately funny and I know thats your thing, but I hate big phones. Where the heck do you put it? a backpack? One of the few nice "modern" inventions is the tiny and reliable cell phone. I'm sure you'll get some laughs, but when you need to just make a phone call I would think this would be rather annoying. You'll look like a rent-a-cop carrying around a walkie. That could work for you though....

Well I have an old brick phone the same size so I tested that out and I can fit it in my back pocket with half of it sticking out of the top. I'm super pumped for a working version. I will finally not be embarrassed to talk on the phone in public.

I did my chef bit on the gong show where I bang pans into my face. Has anyone seen the promo? 2 of my friends saw it and it shows me hit myself in the face with a bag of flour.

Just for the record, Verizon, Sprint and Telus and Bell in Canada aren't GSM. The only (big) GSM providers in North America are AT&T, T-Mobile and everyone's favourite daylight robbers, Rogers.

The networks are At and T, T-Mobile and Cignular, but since Cingular is now At and T...they only work on AT and T and Tmobile. I don't believe there is a "rogers" in USA.

Plus verizon is gonna switch over to a new signal soon so you'd be screwed either way unless they pla n on leaving the CMAD in operation forever....which they wont. I think verizon wants to switch to 2G which is a variation of GSM but it isn't GSM....so there just being gay in other words. Instead of adopting to the largest signal in the world, about 80% of all signals r GSM i believe, they needa be friggin different.
