don't know, guy. I do know that Kurt's a pretty meticilous guy with a lot of projects in the works, so I'm not so sure he's looking for unsolicited things over his panned stuff. Email him either way. He's a nice guy.

I've seen those, but I was under the impression he would accept other pieces as well. I didn't see a request for Imperium, for instance.
For Imperium, I took a chance by writing the entire article before pitching it since I don't have a blog or website to showcase my writing. For the games I'm currently writing about, I pitched them by having the name and a brief description of why I'd like to write about it.

Thanks, I also submitted three other articles. Hopefully, they'll be published soon. :D

It took a while, but my AeroStar and Devastator articles are up.

AeroStar is a GameBoy vertical shoot-em-up with a jumping mechanic similar to Bump 'n' Jump.

Devastator is a platformer/shoot-em-up hybrid based on an obscure anime.

so YOU'RE the one that wrote the Aerostar article! Wow. That's awesome man. Great job on that one. Though you seemed to like it a bit more than I did. I still have my cart lying around, but I tend to like the idea of it more than the game itself. At any rate, keep up the great work!

..the hell? How have I not even heard of this game? It looks awesome!!

(Woah. Deja Vu. This Aerostar article looks... old. I remember reading about this game last year as a mention on a blog, the only proof anyone else even knew about it. As for Devastator.. looks a little like Xardion. It looks like something that could have been released by AD Vision.)

Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.
