Meh, the SNES version is better. Still, it's a good game.

I'd like to add one of the cutest games ever made for the Genesis:
Flicky.

This game feels somewhat like Pac-Mac and Donkey Kong, but incredibly adorable. I also feel bad when I kill off the kittens and iguanas with apples, benches, and telephones. The gameplay is exciting like a platformer, requires some decent strategy, and you need to be fast-paced if you want a good score. It's also quite affordable!

You mean to say Phantasy Star II didn't you? (Or III, if that floats your planet.) PS 4 is already #11 on the list.

Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

I think as a pure platformer, the SNES one is better. The Genesis one has much better graphics though, and the gameplay is not bad at all either.

#139. The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book was one of the slew of great Disney games on Genesis. This platformer has very fluid character animation. Watch how Mowgli dances or juggles if you stop playing. This game is also notable for its rich music which draws upon popular hits from the 1967 movie. My favorite aspect of The jungle Book is the boss battles. Kaa, King Louie, and Sher Kahn each have their own unique attack patterns (which can be somewhat unpredictable) to ensure a challenging fight even after multiple replays.
