I know...but that's the thing with HBO shows, you always have to wait a lon time between seasonsGamerforlife wrote:Wow, that was epic. I want new episodes ASAP!
I do have the whole current season of Treme and half of Boardwalk Empire to get through on my DVR, and Curb (my favorite comedy on TV) starts soon, so that will have to do for now. Spring 2012 for new GoT episodes is so far...
Re: Game of Thrones: New HBO Series
I'm so happy everyone is loving this show so far!
I wondered how people watching the show without having read the books would react to episode 9. I remember when I read that part in the book, it was one of the defining moments for me when I both hated and loved George RR Martin
. I didn't know whether to send him hate mail or ask him for his hand in marriage, haha.
I'm really happy the last scene in the last episode went so well too. I was afraid it wouldn't be portrayed correctly, or without cheese, but they totally pulled it off!
I would be surprised if this doesn't get some awards! The creators have did an absolute fantastic job staying faithful to the feel and tone of the books. Let's just hope in season 2 they start to show some war scenes! That was my one disappointment with season 1, though I guess budget played a major part.
It's sad knowing next week there wont be a new episode to watch
. But I'm also happy Curb will be on soon, as well as Breaking Bad!

Each of the 3 has their own unique strengths. They satisfy me in different ways
