for some reason my new high score isn't showing up on the leaderboards yet (I've noticed it sometimes takes a while to update). But here's a pic:

7,771,620 - noiseredux - 1 - PSN

and here's a video of me beating the first boss.

I won't spoil anything by showing off the 2nd level.

8)

EDIT: leaderboards are updated now.

Nice job, sport.

One question - how do you maintain your speed while shooting? When I shoot I slow down? Do you have turbo on or something?

nope, but I figured out that you can tap the button instead of holding it down when you want to shoot but still keep ok speed.

(I NEVER use Turbo buttons for anything.)

Wow, that's good then dude - tapping that fast is impressive - you look much smoother than I do. I'm confused how your score is so low when you get to the boss, though. Weird.

I can upload the full replay if you want? It was kind of a bad run until I got up to the boss actually.

I just chained the crap out of it - 7mil plus at the boss. Was gonna post my score, but the next run I beat the boss.

Screenshot on the way.

holy shit, that's impressive man!! So what did you do different now? I definitely feel like there's a lot of strategy in this game...

Nope, died on the second boss - he's a beast.

Umm, something I should've done along time ago - slowing time on those mid level guys who drop so much gems, so now i'm chaining both sides (8 crabs?) and then the middle big crab, then a row of "freebies" that come down the center, then do the same thing 8 crabs left, 8 crabs right, slow time, get to center, get that guy...keep the chain going.

never thought to slow time anywhere but on the boss. Good call.

That 2nd level just seems insane altogether. I got to the boss too, but the dolls I had were terrible.
