B&W Manuals for SNES?

Post by foxhound1022 »

Hey, I've just noticed recently that I have 2 complete boxes for Contra 3: The Alien Wars for SNES, and both have a manual on which the front artwork is in black and white. Is this a reproduction? Save color, the manual is the exact size, and seems to be manufactured with the same paper and coating. Is this for later releases? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of times this will be a later run, often produced by Majestic. Kinda like Mega Man X.

My copy of Castlevania: Bloodlines has a B&W manual too.

Just read the Mega Man X thread and got the pertinent information. Thanks.

Licensed reprints by Majesco have black and white manuals. The carts will say "assembled in Mexico" and have the rear cart label moulded into the plastic instead of a printed sticker.
