So here's the deal:
I recently got an EZ Flash IV cart. I've been learning about the capabilities and nuances of it and for the most part, I really like it.
Getting it to save and reset is usually simple enough, you just use the EZ4 client or use the amazing tool GBATA (and make sure you have a save to copy over to the "Saver" file).
I know all that.
However, there are some games like the Final Fantasy series (FF6 in particular) that just don't work as well with them. I can get it to save well enough (by turning it off then on), but the reset (to the system menu for it to write to flash memory) just won't function. This is important to me because I want a full-proof way to preserve game saves in case the SRAM battery goes dead on me without warning.
I found this thread:

Which lead me to this one for a fix:

So I downloaded that.
The trouble is, I can't run it.
The readme says:
So I open up command prompt, get to the directory with sleephack and my rom, type the commands in, and it gives me syntax errors no matter what I do.How to patch:
Use the command line program:
sleephack <input_file.gba> <output_file.gba>
The file "patch.bin" must be in the current directory as the program is run.
when I put "sleephack <input_file.gba> <output_file.gba>", it says: "< was unexpected at this time".
Well I've tried all I can think of.
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated and properly worshiped.
