Snes emulation on the sega saturn
I just purchased a modded sega saturn with the 4 in 1 memory cart and burned the snes emulator and at first since instructions were hard to find tried to run a rom but kept saying invalid directory so finally I read somwhere you had to put roms on a seperate disk which I burned a few backups of roms I legally own[lol] and no matter wha I pressed it seemed to automatically chose the first legal rom on the disk and it loaded it rather slow with no music.. my question is how d I work it and two did they actually make any decent emu's for the saturn or did they give up? Last bit of update info I have been ale to get was 2006 so I assume maybe they gave.up.

I wouldn't bother trying to get the SNES emulator to work on a Saturn. Either play on the real thing or play on the PC/xbox.

Re: Snes emulation on the sega saturn
I got the Master System emulator working but the Saturn was running super loud so I decided against ever using it again... I figured it was just a good way to wear out the cd drive
still pretty novel, though

Re: Snes emulation on the sega saturn
I think emulating other systems is a gross misuse of a Saturn.
It's funny though, I never knew there were any emulated systems on the Saturn I suppose a Sega CD emulator (if it exists/existed) would be kind of cool, just for novelty, but it's one of those systems that I'd never want to waste any of its life on another platform.
I have a similar view on Dreamcast gaming, but that at least makes more sense to me, given the ease of burning discs for it.

How did you get the master system emulator to work? Did you have to burn roms to a seperate disk? I purchased the modded saturn to catch up on games I could not afford as a kid lol. Just beat Magic Knight Rayearth next is shining wisdome then Panzar dragon saga.

The Saturn was very powerful system, The only reason why its hard to emulate on is cause is has a complicated structure.
The guy would be better off running it on a dream cast which is great for that stuff
