What the fuck, Mega Man Legends 2 has hit $80 now?

What the hell is UP with all of these games getting increasingly inflated prices? Earthbound is approaching $200 and Shantae's getting up there too.

Most likely because impatient people are willing to spend an extra $20 on a game, instead of it waiting for it to pop up at its actual worth. Over some years, that can cause quite a price flux.

Granted, if that many people are willing to buy it... maybe thats what its worth?

You do have to know the difference between what the price of the game currently is, and what people are trying to get it to. That $80 copy could be waiting for that impatient person, and then we will see more $80 copies.

The harder it is to find the game, the more likely it is to be price-gouged trying to buy it.

I literally just closed my Ebay tab, where I was checking the value of MML2. What a coincidence!

I too have noticed how a lot of great games have suddenly started ramping up in price over the past 4 months or so. I have no idea what's going on, but I don't like it.
