What specifically is wrong the PSN port. I've had no sound, lag, or other issues.

@Noise, put a (#1) in front of your name.

Then quickly edit yr post and put my score on top, please.

@dunpeal - you need to play this game. I have never in my life been so frustrated by a boss and you would really enjoy the scoring system, it's actually quite the intricate system.

I don't think anybody here has beaten the first level.
Are you saying we suck noise?
A few guys on shmups forums have "ALL"ed it.

The sound skipping may not affect your particular PS3.

As far as other issues, I forget. Haven't really played the games/researched them in a year.

Hmmm, dunno Erik. The guys w/sound issues had sound issues w/other games as well - and some of those guys admitted to downloading stuff in the background.

As for port inaccuracies - didn't see anything in that 8 page thread - in fact they were able to patch some flaws existent in the PC game.

More than one highly regarder scorer said the PSN port was better and preferred the PSN over PC version.

Did you read the whole thread? It's not just a few people complaining about sound issues. I have the sound issues as well without downloading anything in the background. And it does not affect other games like MvC2.

I did, yes. You owe me 12 minutes.

I don't want to say all, in case I missed or skimmed a post, so i'll say "Almost, and perhaps all stated one or more reasons:

1) It only happens when I download in the background
2) It happens with other games I have on download as well
3) I have an old PS3

At any rate, if the only concern is the sound - it isn't a concern for me.

So...i'll play on PS3, you play on PC and lets start tossing dolls at robotic crabs.

Yea, sounds like you didn't really read what people were saying. Just skipped through it.

For instance, most people with sound issues were saying it happened on their PS3 slim. NEWER PS3. NOT older.

It does NOT happen on other games for most people from what I read. Only games in the Gundemonium Collection.

It does NOT only happen when people are downloading in the background. However one PS3 fat user said they downloaded in the background and played the game with no sound issues at the same time.

I haven't had any sound issues at all. And my PS3 is old. It's a launch 60GB.

Really, the only issue I've had is that trying to beat the first boss is like getting punched in the face and the crotch at the same time. It's just brutal. I watched some youtube vids of beating him and it looks so easy. Yet, I just can't do it. I can take his two arms off (usually just one though) and he just wrecks me.

But yes, dunpeal should play this. The scoring system is really interesting.

From the thread I linked it seems like original 60GB PS3s have the LEAST chance of the sound issues. So you're very fortunate in that regard, noise. :)

The first boss is extremely difficult until you develop the right strategy. Can take a while... Haha.

Anyways - I have a new ps3 slim. Sound is great. It sings to me. My wife and I make love to the sounds. It is gr8.

Have you beat him? I see my score is a bit higher than yrs
