silent hill downpour!! buy this game now

Ok so first off do not read any reviews and if you do don't be bias or read ign they gave this game a 4.5!!!?!?!?!?!?! WTF!!! seriously they are nuts! This game is fantastic and i dont mean good i mean fantastic. IGN said that everything on it was bad snd they gave the graphics a 4.0?!

Ok now i know there bias and nuts. I have played this game for 14 hours and first off its scary as hell. I actually jumped and screamed a few times which i have not gotten scared from a game in a long time. Also the story seems great so far,The gameplay is new refreshing and badass fun. not to mention the best graphics i have ever seen on a silent hill game there top notch beautiful.

Also there tons of side mission on top of the straight forward game which is new and fun. Unlike resident evil which has turned into shooter crap. They could learn a lesson from silent hill. Personally I would like to thank the makers for keeping true to horror gameing which i have missed so much over the years

So for the love of god ignore all reviews and trust a fellow retro gamer when i say its worth the price of admission and then some.

I haven't played it, but the original creator was only involved in the original Silent Hill 13 years ago. Seems like it has been downhill ever since...

ya well if i were ypu I would give this game a chance its really good. Umm as for the original creator....did who only do silent hill 1 or did he also do 2 and 3

I'm passing on Downpour until it, like most modern releases, drops into the 20-30 dollar range.

As far as who directed what, check out this article on Wikipedia. It gives a little detail on who worked on which Silent Hill title.
