Yes it was a joke. I got the beavis and butthead right away and tails too but I couldn't figure who butthead was supposed to be. All I could see was batman. I actually just realized it's sonic.

The best way to end it is to grab a bunch of playing cards in each hand, then jump off the furniture flapping your "wings" trying to fly over the lava. And of course, falling in and dying.

I always liked to take the couch cushions and set them on the floor to be islands.

I had a small rocking chair that I sat in and slid around to protect myself.

We designed an entire complicated game around that. I still have the map i drew of the cushion island layout. It was like tag. And there were power up hats that you had to get. And you had to place the orb (big blue ball) on the pedestal (inflatable innertube)

Me and my brothers used to play Pac-Man. One guy would walk around the room collecting objects while the other two would walk back and forth in per-determined patterns. What always ended up happening is that the "ghosts" would get tired of walking back and forth and go and touch "Pac-Man." The game usually ended with a fight.
