That is already included in Persona 3 FES.
Wow, shows how long it's been since I played FES. But Portable still has the P4 S.Link bonuses, which FES doesn't.
Protip: All girls team in P3 fails, cover your elemental weakness
That's what accessories are for. All girl team is where it's at. When I finished P3P I had my all girl team in the meido outfits, and prior to that it was high cut armor.

This thread makes me want to replay Persona 3 and actually finish it. But the games take forever. Hmm! If I play it on my PSP I expect it to take me half a year, haha.
I never explored the Shin Megami series. The Persona chapters seemed to be too much dialog and the dating aspect that Hardcore Gaming mentions. I am curious about the spin off Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Anyone play it that can post their take on it?
Nocturne is essentially a series of dungeons with a small amount of text in between to explain why you're going through a series of dungeons. It's also ball-crushingly hard.

CRTGamer: SMT Nocturne is actually not a Spin Off, but the third in the main series. It follows the 2 games on the SFC. It is a very unique game, nothing like Persona.
Oddly, Persona actually is not even SMT. They just added it into the title so that it would sell better here.
Digital Devil Saga plays off of the Digital Devil Story games, taht I belive came before SMT. It plays quite similar to Nocturne, but they got rid of the fusion, and gave you a full party. Quite a fun game.
the Devil Summoner games are also quite fun action-rpgs which still include fusion.
I personally liked Persona 4, but it was still way too long, and had a lot of moments I just did not care about. Overall a fantastic game, but 90 hrs is too long with no sidequests, and way too much sim dating-esk stuff for my taste.
Nocturne is totally opposite, you'll wish there were people everywhere to talk to. Very dreary, story comes in small chunks. Still very good.
Digital Devil Saga actually has a story, while not going the sim route. I thought these games were the best SMT has to offer.

Not quite. The original Megami Tensei games on the NES were Digital Devil Story, which was the name of a novel they licensed for the setting. Digital Devil Saga is not related to that.

Gamestop recently reduced the prices on a few of the Shin Megami games, I'm debating to dive in. I remeber in another Thread J T posting about really liking Nocturne. I'm not much into an RGG that has a ton of Dialog to click thru but maybe I should get at least one game from the series.
On the DS there's also Strange Journey, which is SMT 4. It's a dungeon crawler that seems to reuse the Etrian Odyssey engine (though it maps for you) and goes with the standard one human, 3 demons party mechanics. I'd say it has a stronger narrative than Nocturne and also isn't quite as challenging, in a good way (Nocturne had some EVIL boss fights).
