Yup, the item is under review at Amazon.com. Ouch, Konami really dropped the ball on this one. :|

Wow, it's so shitty Amazon doesn't even want to carry it? I've never even heard of something like that before with a game. I can understand it though, I guess. I mean it's going to sell pretty bad, only people that are going to buy it are those without an informed opinion (other than our good pal noiseredux, haha). So impulse buyers, and being that the boxart is atrocious...

Wow I've never heard of an Amazon case like this myself. Awful, doesn't get much worse... lol. Glad the MGS collection wasn't this botched.

I'm wondering if someone (like me) that had never played either game in the collection would even be bothered by any of the problems of this "port."

Edit no I am not thinking about getting the game after all I've heard. I'm just thinking out loud.

Personally it looks awful enough that I think brand new fans would definitely be disgusted by the new looks in some area's.

You're not far off. The fact that it's so bad that Amazon stopped selling it makes me somewhat more interested to see for myself just how bad it is.

Yea, it might be fun to check out but not for $40. At this rate it seems like it'll be $5 in a few months. So just wait it out. :D

So is there anything this collection does right? It seems the originals win in every single aspect. There's gotta be any kind of redeeming factor left in this thing. I'm just curious since nothing but bad things have been said.

Amazon's "review" has concluded since it's back on sale there.
