I have another game to add. Its cheezy, but is it a must for the genesis?

Its called Fighting Masters, Obviously with the title you know what it is

but as I'm reasearching this game online, I'm finding out that the copy I have is a pirate!

I assumed that this game was only available as a pirate, but I now see that it was a legitimate release!

Mine is not shaped like a Megadrive game. It has the shape of a Genesis game with the open notch to the side. Also the box art is different from the two pics above.

Sadly I dont know where this game is, I have both the cart and box separate, and it would take too long to find it.

heres a snarky youtube vid for this game: http://youtu.be/LP7jl1__KJY

he is not a fan.

Treco was a legit Genesis publisher. In fact, they brought another good Genesis game over, one I should nominate right now!

116. Twin Cobra

Way better than the NES port!

I'm gonna go with...

118. Light Crusader

Picked this up recently, and have had a great time so far. It's Treasure's answer to Zelda with a neat pseudo-3d graphical style, very exciting boss battles and worthwhile puzzles.

This looks like a Genesis hack of Final Fight 2. Not a bad thing mind you.

Also, it has been awhile since a listing was posted and our numbering is getting really off:

Never got into Light Crusader. It just felt... stiff.

In the vein of Langrisser and Fighting Masters, how about some Master of Monsters? (Because I don't understand what's going on in Vixen 357 or Ninja Burai Densetsu and I think my nostalgia of Genghis Khan trumps Genghis Khan II.)

I'd rather not see this list bogged down by pirate games. I know I added Pier Solar, but I don't really think of it as a pirate game. If you guys disagree, my bad. Still, I'd rather this list be about REAL Genesis games

^ Agreed

We should be able to name 200 original Genesis games without resorting to bootleg games and hacks. Homebrew is a fine line but I'm ok with that over the other two.
