Why isn't there a wider variety of real life mythology?

You should try Prey if you haven't already. It doesn't explore the ideas fully as it's more focused on human eating space aliens, but it is one of the few games that attempts to have a native american protagonist.
Wasn't Turok a native American? Also, the upcoming Assassin's Creed game will have the featured Assassin be half-British half-Mohawk, which makes Desmond one of the most ethnic protagonists ever, being part-Turkish-part-British-part-Italian-part-Mohawk-part-Precursor.
Yeah, Turok is technically a Native American, though the game's narrative doesn't exactly explore the mythology all that deeply; it's more about dinosaurs.

This just reminded me of screwing with my friend the other day. He kept talking about how he knew so much about video games and I was getting sick of it so I told him to name a Jewish protagonist. It totally stumped him. I'm actuary stumped because I can't think of any more then the one I had in mind. Can anyone think of one?

Edit the character I had in mind was B.J. Blaskowits (no clue on spelling) the guy from wolfenstien 3d.

Fatale is a game based on the Oscar Wilde story Salome, which deals with Jewish characters, as does the game. Salome is a Judean princess.

I really like that Persona/MegaTen games incorporate a whole variety of culture's myths into their games.

I've learnt quite a bit!

We need a game with a Druish Princess.

I'm kidding, but I'm not. Ghostbusters was a lot of fun, why not try developing a Spaceballs game?
