I don't know why but I really love the remakes of classic games on ps1. They have graphics from an era I am the most nostalgic about but still have the same game mechanics of the original (mostly 3d frogger is still weird but alright). That and half price books always clearances them out after like a week on the shelf.sabrage wrote:I thought the Asteroids on PS1 (well I played it on PC) was badass, but the Space Invaders remake was the best one. Centipede was fun but incredibly hard from what I remember. I never played Missile Command.GamerMON wrote:Half price books clearance

My favorite was Pong: The Next Level. That game was awesome.GamerMON wrote:I don't know why but I really love the remakes of classic games on ps1. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who loves the Nintendo e-Reader.

I can vouch for Asteroids. I've had the PC version since it came out and it's a lot of fun.

The 3D Frogger is fantastic. Faithful, hard as hell, tons of content, and from what I remember a pretty awesome soundtrack. There was a 3D Q-Bert as well, but that was never really my thing.noiseredux wrote:I've mostly overlooked these... what else is available that's worth checking out?GamerMON wrote: I don't know why but I really love the remakes of classic games on ps1. I think the Dreamcast/PC versions were the definitive ones.

It's in the Wal-Mart bargain bin for $15 if anyone else is looking for it. There are apparently 10's of thousands of unsold copies.Weekend_Warrior wrote:girlracer wrote: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (PS3)(CIB) - $12NICE!
