Weird N64 cartridge. Anyone know anything about it?

Post by SirLukeofWales »

Hi, I've had this game for years now can't remember where i got it. Was wondering if any one knows anything about it. I've googled the name of it and can only find the normal sized cart. Any information would be great.
Thanks
(Mario just there to show size diffrence)

It's a prototype cart. You should get it dumped if it hasn't been already. It's hard to put a price on it. It's definitely rare, but it's really only worth something to a collector. If the game was unreleased, a prototype would definitely be worth something. Being that it's been released though, I don't see it fetching a whole lot.

It has to be worth at least twice as much as a regular cart! (Price is based on size, right?)

I'd be interested in trading for it.

To be fair though - you will be able to find collector value of it on Nintendoage. Prototypes and NFR's are where those will fetch market value. I'd think prob in the $50 range, but that is a complete shot in the dark.

Looks interesting, definitely a prototype from Japan, the tall shell is a good indicator. Can you post some in game screenshots and maybe a few words on the gameplay? I 'm also interested in buying, but probably beyond my price range.

yep that is a prototype cart (and yes it needs to be dump and share) . Rat Attack is a puzzle game for the N64 and PlayStation console, it was released in 1999 on PlayStation and in 2000 on N64.

Sweet, I love seeing any prototype stuff. I would love to have something like that in my collection.

cool stuff indeed, I would also be interested in trading for it if you have not gotten rid of it already.
