Yeah, I'm obviously trolling. I'm just having a good time.

One of the least useful advanced techniques, eh? On grounds of usefulness, I sure do see it used a whole lot for it to be useless. As for it not being a glitch and just an 'advanced technique', as I have read numerous times:
Contrary to the common belief that it is a glitch, Wavedash is actually a physics exploit because while sliding from an airdodge is an intended part of the physics engine, the uses found for it weren't intended.
So, it's not a glitch, It's just exploiting the game and using the game's physics engine in a way that it wasn't meant to be used.

Yeah. That sure makes it sound legitimate.

Even Sakurai said that "He noticed the technique." Interesting. Did you notice typing "SERIOUS" in all caps? Of course you didn't - You flat out intended it. You don't "notice" things that you premeditated. If it was something that was meant to be in there from the get-go, why can't you perform it in Brawl? It's almost as if, when they made the new game, they decided to fix some of the problems that were present in the old game. How about that.

Wavedashing is one of the less useful advanced techniques in Melee. This is a well known fact. You're acting just like every other dime a dozen scrub who gets crushed by a good player and whines about wavedashing on the internet. And of course, you didn't even look at the link I posted, because you're still using the same arguments it already addressed.

And yeah, Sakurai decided not to add wavedashing to Brawl, the man who also decided to add tripping to the game, a mechanic that has a chance to randomly ground you every time you dash. The man who flat out stated that he wanted Brawl to be non-competitive. A little lesson for you: What developers intended doesn't mean jack shit to us competitive players, because nine times out of ten they don't give a shit about us. Designers like Sakurai are not gaming gods who knows what's best for us, they're just men trying to make a buck. What they "intended" the game to be like never has and never will matter. Besides, if what Sakurai says about wavedashing makes it illegitimate, then what about every other fighting game that has wavedashing? None of them ever decided to remove it, so what is supposed to be "legitimate" by your terms? Are we just supposed to abide by the whims of the uber hip designer gods who think adding random elements that fuck you up is a good idea?

There are three teams that come to mind

1. Jill Valentine, Venom, & War Machine
2. Akuma, Magneto, & Cpt. Commando
3. Felicia, Morrigan, & B.B. Hood

I may be terrible at any of the MvC games, but they sure are fun to play.
