It's a great game, and I loved RS too.

Feel bad you had to get it for $36 though. I remember getting it for $19.99 in 2001

There are a LOT of characters to unlock, so make sure you play the Story Mode as much as you can!

I love this game. I played the hell outta RS at the local arcade, and had to get it on PS1. I think the sequel is an improvement on almost every level.

My personal favorites are Gan, Hayato, Roy, Daigo, and Boman.

Love me some Shoma, Batsu, and Momo teamups! RS/PJ series is epic for sure. PJ running on DC VGA looks simply AMAZING!

i really like this game too.

Had it back in 2003 from a blockbuster rental for about 7 bucks.

had it up till 5 years ago, when some bastard stole my dreamcast with about 40 original games, including this one.

I now own it burned, but it would be nice to find it original again.

but I dont wanna pay such a high price. I'll hopefully find it one day for cheap.

I like the strange variety of characters. It makes a good party game too. You can make brackets and have a mini tournament.

That's the number that gets tossed around with respects to its US release. Luckily for DC owners, importing is a viable alternative ;) Besides, who doesn't love some "walking on air Kyosuke" nonsense?

I still need to buy this game. Only have a CD-R. I won a copy on eBay last year, but the guy could not even find the game and refunded me. :(

I loved Rival Schools when I was younger but found it hard to get into when I replayed last year. Besides the mini games. Those are still fun. So then I tried Project Justice and found it to basically fix most of the issues I had with Rival Schools.
My B/S/T thread! :)

I understand it's a bit hard to find in the wild, but was it THAT bad here? Japanese version I hear has an extra board game and character creation mode that we didn't get, but we got the unlockable characters from that mode instead (the blue/pink school-people in the lower left corner)
