Saturn Problem Reading Disk

Lately i've been having probles with my saturn not being able to play certain games, originals and copies. My original copy of all japan pro wrestling that had played fine for months just gets stuck on a black screen. Same goes for Marvel vs Street fighter and a few other. It will play certain games no problems such as fire pro wrestling and x men vs street fighter, anyone have any idea what's going on.

Discs going bad? scratches? gunky build-up?
I'd give the troubled discs a good cleaning:

i don't think it has to do with a disc being dirty. It's just odd that it will only play certain games. Certain games it will play fine, some burned games which use to play fine don't work anymore. I've made new burned copies and those don't work either. My original all japan wrestling is flawless and it wont boot. The games that it will play if i burn a copy it will play those just fine also. If it's one of the games that don't work and i make a copy those don't play either.. I think i might have to get a new saturn one of these days.
