You're talking to GameMasterGuy, right? Because numbers are numbers, and they show that older women are the largest audience. I didn't make that up.Stark wrote:Also, that's just your opinion, man.BoringSupreez wrote:Because American television is aimed primarily at women 40 and older. That's the largest audience these days. Somehow, I have yet to watch that show. Haven't been avoiding it, I just haven't bothered.lisalover1 wrote:I just started watching Doctor Who over spring break; I had never seen a single episode before. Yes, sorry I didn't mean to imply that your facts were made up. I just feel that British TV and American TV is so different, that it is purely opinion as to which you prefer. I mean you can't deny that the production values on American TV is much higher for most programming, that should be a facotr as well.BoringSupreez wrote:You're talking to GameMasterGuy, right? Wanna know the best way to "embrace social media"? Stop assuming that Twitter and Facebook are the only avenues of information that people use. I consider that shit a god damned virus. I manually block this cancer of the internet (along with 4chan, Gawker and every random pop-up I get) and I'm not going to submit to majority rule just to see a couple goddamn screenshots.
And I wish Sony and Microsoft would release the numbers on Trophies/Achievements instead of just using it as market research.

I haven't watched Firefly yet either. I bought it after Thanksgiving thinking it would motivate me more if it were sitting right in front of me....nopeGameMasterGuy wrote:I hear you. Story time!
So this guy on Gametz.com had this thread advertising all this stuff he has for sale and he had an N64 console which came with a "rare pikachu controller" for $30 (plus shipping). Am I crazy for at first assuming that maybe he meant this one:
?
Well anyway, I asked him if he'd sell the controller seperately. He said sure, I asked him how much, he said they go for $20 to $25 on ebay, so somewhere in that price range. I told him I thought that was a ridiculous price for a controller and I don't want to pay ebay prices, so he said he'd do $15 shipped. He told me that he resells stuff so I though maybe he'd do a trade, so we decided I'd send him Super Mario 64 and $5 (to cover shipping on his end) for the "rare pikachu controller". Luckily, before we officially agreed to this, he sent me this picture, and said "this is the one".

Soooooo.......the good news is, he has an "ice blue" controller that hopefully isn't like, green or something (lol) and hopefully he'll do that same trade deal for that controller, because N64 controllers are seriously insanely overpriced. The end.

Yeah that guy seriously has no idea what he's talking about. And now he's saying he won't trade for the blue one, because he only has an extra yellow. So he keeps sending pictures of the yellow one even though I told him I have one and I'm not interested.gtmtnbiker wrote:What an idiot! Good story.
*sigh* I hate it when people seem normal at first and then just get weird/annoying. haha
