Sabrage's Collection

Post by sabrage »

This is extremely premature! But I finally got my TV and consoles up off the floor and I was so pleased with myself, I couldn't help but take a picture.

Here's a close-up of all those handhelds and controllers: (it's like Where's Waldo down there)

Not pictured: 99% of my games, Xbox 360, PS3 or PC, and some other odds and ends. Moving everything around to get the TV stands in and arrange the controllers has left those parts of my room too far messy to be taking shots of right now...

Nice collection! There is something enchanting about the 4:3 CRT TV.

Found an old picture of my desk setup. It looks pretty much the same now, just with a preponderance of cables, electronics, tools and cameras all over it.

What record player do you have up there by the big daddy on the desk pic?

I just looked at a house with the same color Terra Cotta walls.

Perhaps bed sheets can be added to your B/S/T thread? :D

Um, if that gold Ocarina of Time cart suddenly goes missing...don't look at me.

But seriously, looks like you're off to an awesome start. Can't wait to see the rest of your collection. :)

Good eye! It's an old Denon DP-11F I inherited from my dad. I really love the way vinyl sounds, but I haven't been collecting since all the good stuff at my local flea market is waaay too expensive ($28 for a Blue Cheer EP?!) and the only dedicated record store in a 10 mile radius closed down a year or two ago. I could take a picture of my vinyl collection, but it's mostly hand-me-down classic rock that only gets playtime about once a month.

No hate on hand me down records. Most of mine are hand me downs, or random Polka or TV themes that Ive found. That and I am trying to get all of Henry Mancini's records.
