Well, hitting a plateau - took 120 minutes straight to beat yesterday's best run.

Finally had my first run where I got the first 3 Gemheads and 3 tech bonuses. Died on the 4th boss, out of bombs, had to waste my needed bomb on that stupid ship - just panicked when my I released my Dragon too far from the center-rear gunner and he released hell on me from 1/2 an inch away - bomb cleared it but couldn't get by that boss w/o a bomb :/

I'll be hitting this up again next weekend - but this might be my high:

530,600 - mjmjr25 - 1-4 (boss) - Quaid - Arcade

If you can just cheese your way to 1-5 you should get that extend!

Nice score man!!

I know dude - I thought I had the boss gonzo, another 10K for that and i'd be at 540K and banking on that farming part of 1-5 (tons points at the beginning of that stage - though, it's not the easiest to navigate either).

Damn you guys are tearing it up. Updated the OP, lemme know if I missed anything.

I haven't played the game too much but sat down with it for awhile last night. I'm able to break 200k but can't go much further. I can actually get the tech bonuses pretty easy, it's the intensity of the levels that are getting me. Just need some more practice basically. For the tech bonuses the strategy I'm using is just saving my bombs, using all my magic on the first form of the boss and trying to kill it as quickly as possible, then using my bomb (as Quaid) to clear everything off the screen and just charging in for the kill. Not the most noble strategy but it's getting the job done for now.

I really like this game though. Love how each of the characters plays so differently rather than simply having a different bullet pattern, I'm gonna have to look for more shmups like this.

Everyone is getting so good, and I haven't even put an hour into the game. Good job folks! :D

Just been in a RPG, Lumines, and DoA kind of mood. Taking a good break from shmups.

Psikyo shmups are pretty good at giving you characters that actually play different, rather than just having minor changes to them. Even in their older stuff like Gunbird, the characters play completely different.

Raizing are also pretty good at this, which we will get a chance to test out in May.

Thats a great score Hashiriya! Nice job hitting that extend.

I gotta reclaim that top spot! It's getting to the point where I am beginning to memorize the bullet pattern for the first four stages no matter what order they are in. The desert stage is still the hardest if it's 1-4.

For those playing on supergun or cab, there is a copy of Dimahoo (no console release for this one) on KLOV.

This is the SotM for May.

He's asking $200, could prob talk him down a few bucks.

I'd have some minor interest in the bits if someone else just wanted the board.
