Hopefully it'll get shelved for at least the rest of this console generation. No spin off's or anything until the PS4, Xbox 720, and Wii U.
This may not be an entirely fair comparison, but it feels to me as if Mass Effect is starting to become the CoD of RPG's and I really don't want to have to see it drop in quality due to over saturation.

I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

I don't know about that, but it could happen.
Thankfully ME3 alone is the length of probably the entire CoD (8-9 games?) series combined. A justified $60 instead of nearly 500!

Not sure if anyone heard yet but some guy is soooooo pissed about ME:3's ending that he has contacted the FTC over false advertising lol.
