Ah, and Kid Icarus, damn. It looks like a lot of fun, but it's not optimized for a left handed person like myself, haha. That'll be interesting.

Leftie here as well; at least left handed people have the possibility of playing it with the Circle Pad Pro. Damn, guess I should pick one up now

I just don't want to carry around that goofy CPP on the go. Will probably just do my best with my right hand. Debating whether to pre-order this right now. Looks like one of the more interesting 3DS titles, that is for sure.

Yea. I noticed that, but it honestly is not a selling point for me. Thus, I may not end up pre-ordering. I have until Thursday to decide anyway.

Playing 999 now, with about half of the endings uncovered so far. Interesting game... although even calling it a "game" is debatable.

Without giving anything away about the story, you only make a handful of meaningful decisions the entire time without any real way to know which choice is better/worse, and then solve some fairly easy puzzles to reach the next blind decision point. Sound lame? It's not that bad because the story is so interesting and twisted - although I'm still uncovering more information with each subsequent play through.

I'll probably be selling/trading 999 once the game is finished properly, but it has totally been worth playing.

Hope you enjoy DoA. I think that game and Ghost Recon both deserved more love and attention than the media gave them.

999 is a visual novel, right? Haven't played it quite yet, but I did download Pushmo. Seems like that'll be a good way to kill time on the way to work (bus/train).

I've found that the bigger problem with playing DS games on 3DS is that the colours seems rather faded. It's reallly evident after using my DSi. It's not unbearable by any means, but given the choice, I'd prefer to play DS games on a DS.

Yeah, I think I would agree with this statement too. Just slightly less nice than DS. My DSi XL had the best picture ever for the DS line, but I had to trade it towards my 3DS cause I was po'.

Are the colors faded when you use the "native" DS resolution (and smaller screen size)?

You had to register two 3DS games on club nintendo. If you registered two you also got 3D Classics: Kid Icarus for free
