XSEED is one of my favorite publishers as they have brought out some titles I would have otherwise missed, like the fantastic Ys series. Now the company is announcing that they're bringing some of those titles to Steam.
Both Ys: The Oath in Felghana and Ys Origin will come to the PC via Steam soon. The former already has a date and price: March 19, and $14.99. Oath gets Steamworks features like Achievements and Steam Cloud support. A date for Origin will come later, but know that this will be the first time it will be officially released in English.
This is great news for RPG lovers. I'm going to go air high-five random people in the street now!

Ys Finally Coming To Steam!
The Ys series is pretty much the only JRPG series that has kept home computers as its main platform throughout its life, except in the US, of course. Now, it looks like things are finally coming full circle; localization superhero XSeed has secured the rights to, and announced the releases of, Ys: The Oath in Felghana and Ys Origins on Steam. In my opinion, it is going to feel very right to play these games on their intended platform.

Awesome games and one of my favorite series, steam users are in for a treat. The metal soundtracks are awesome!
