Yeah, but most modern ports have Ys I & II together on one disc/cart (kinda like the re-issues of Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy games). They're both short so you might as well play them together back-to back.

The only stand-alone versions of Ys I released in the states were the Sega Master System and (extremely rare) DOS ports. There was no stand-alone Ys II released in North America.

If you're playing the turbo CD version, can you tell when I is over and II begins?

I believe on all versions that have both games they are still two separate games in the menu screen with end credits of their own.

Actually, this version continues directly on with the story after the end of Ys 1. I don't think you even get credits or anything for the end of Ys 1. I imagine you'll know when the game ends though, there'll be a final boss fight, and you'll start in a new world or something afterwards.

You can count on me not being much of a threat. I never fully beat THPS2. THPS3 is the only one I ever won.

Hey would you guys consider adding Matt Hoffmans BMX to the Tony Hawk games next month. Its pretty much a mirror image of Tony Hawk except with BMX of course, same engine, same goals/objectives and controls only difference theres a bike. And possibly non of us has played it yet.

And like I said maybe as an option.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

THPS2 is the one we're playing. But nobody is stopping anyone from trying other similar games on their own.

I'll be playing THPS2x as I don't have my PS copy.

I need to read the THPS2 TR thread to see if we have any objectives or goals.
