best 2d shooter dreamcast?

So im just starting to build up my shrump collection. I really need these and i know of all of them almost but what would be the best first one to get? price does not matter i already want boarder down but any suggestions?

Gunbird 2 is 2D and is a great port.

Just select Dreamcast on the right and you should find it.

When it comes to the best in anything,it all boils down to a matter of opinion.Watch some Gameplay videos of games and see what really gets you going.

I could tell you Culdcept Saga & Farcry 2 are the best games ever,but that would be just my opinion.

I also have a thing for Insect shooters which tend to be medicore,but hey Im tired of spaceships dominating the best of shoot'em ups.

Like you said though, thats just me. I would suggest taking small peaks at youtube vids and see what looks best to you. Insector X is pretty awesome TEKTORO!

What kinds of shmups do you usually like OP? I like score-based shooters that are fairly manic, thus my recommendations.

If you really enjoy older shooters, like Taito's Metal Black, then you will want to check out Border Down and Under Defeat.

If you like pretty patterns, Shikigami and Psyvariar are great.

Honestly, they are shmups. If you don't like it, sell it and get something else. Someone is bound to like pretty much every DC shooter.
