even though Baseball is a pretty horrid game.. for some reason I still love it. At least the offensive side of things.. defense is a whole other story.
Well im not going to pay over 30.00 for dusty diamond baseball . For that I will pick up mlb 12 for ps3. I think I'm just going to have to buy triple play gold for the genesis. That game rocked. As far as I know don't the genesis sports games kill the snes well maybe except the first tecmo bowl for the snes. I like the snes version better but other than that as far as i remember the sports games on the genesis killed over the snes. Am I right on this?

The game just has such a nostalgic charm about it. Picking teams by individual players, rules on each field, OMG. Watching all those videos on YouTube -- GREAT game!
IT'S $30?! I didn't imagine it to be that rare!!!!!
But yeah, Baseball Stars is readily available, I know BS 2 is a bit harder to find.

Genesis was better than SNES on sports games, by far. But that doesn't mean not to buy any. Tecmo Super Baseball was great on SNES.

Yep, it's actually the second rarest sports game on the NES - behind Stadium Events.
My BIL has this game and we drafted teams and played a few games a couple of months ago. I have pages of notes - will be writing something up for RSGW soon.
